Graduate Employment Law and HR Consultant
Home‑based (UK‑wide, with client visits)
Salary: £33,000 per annum + car allowance (post‑probation)
Start date: Autumn 2026
If you have a law degree and a genuine interest in applying employment law in the real world, this role is built for you. Not a training contract. Not a paralegal seat. A role where you will be doing meaningful, client-facing employment law work from day one, under close mentorship from a Consultant Director, in an organisation that takes colleague development seriously.
This is a rare opportunity to join a people‑centred consultancy where employment law is applied practically, commercially and ethically every day. THSP is an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), meaning that colleagues are also part‑owners of the business. We are proud to be certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ and committed to fairness, equality and continuous development.
This graduate role offers a significant breadth of experience, close mentoring from a Consultant Director, and early responsibility. It is ideal for a graduate who wishes to build a career applying employment law in real‑world business environments rather than following a traditional training contract route.
This role is home-based with national client exposure. Our current client base is concentrated in the East Midlands, London and the South East, making candidates in those areas particularly well placed for on-site visits. Strong candidates from other regions are encouraged to apply.
About THSP
THSP provides pragmatic employment law, HR and people management support to organisations across the UK. While THSP is not a Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) firm, we operate robust Ways of Working that ensure consistency, quality and professional standards across our consultancy team.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Consultant Director, supporting clients across a wide range of employment and HR matters, while building professional judgement, commercial confidence and client‑facing capability.
Responsibility will increase as experience and competence develop.
