THSP is now Employee Owned
In September 2021 THSP (The Health and Safety People Limited) became an Employee Owned business. The owners set up a Trust for us and have given over a majority shareholding in the company.
Our staff continue to work with our customers as we always have done, providing a pro-active and supportive service to ensure they continue to benefit from our work. Our contracts and the terms and conditions have not changed.
Our colleagues have an exciting opportunity to build the business for our future, giving us job security and a stronger voice in the direction that THSP will take. Adrienne Massey has remained as our Managing Director and still continues to support us. Chris Ivey heads up our health and safety services, whilst Andrew Wilson oversees our HR and employment law division.
With our fresh start, we have also changed our logo. We feel the new logo will better symbolise who we are – a business that puts our customers at the heart of everything we do.
Our Trustees
Our Employee Ownership Trust is called Our THSP Limited. The Board of Trustees comprises John Thoday, THSP’s founder who has now retired from the business; Jennie Dingle, THSP’s Operations Director; Kirsty Maynard, Head of Customer Services; Kevin Harvey, Senior Consultant, and an Independent Trustee, the Rev. Kevin Fear who was previously Health and Safety Strategy Lead at the CITB. It is their task to ensure that we are governed well and that we benefit from our efforts as we grow the business.
With our fresh start, you will soon notice that we are also changing our logo. We feel the new logo will better symbolise who we are – a business that puts our customers at the heart of everything we do.
